mdcrack-0.6.tar.gz |
Description:
|
MDcrack is a brute forcer for MD5 hashes. Many programs send MD5 hashes of passwords over the wire for security, not realizing that brute forcing MD5 hashes is as simple as brute forcing our old UNIX DES password. MDcrack has been built with performance in mind, and is capable of breaking up to 6 characters in length hashes in hours, 8 character passwords can be cracked in a couple days.
| | Author: | Gregory Duchemin | | Homepage: | http://mdcrack.multimania.com | | Changes: | It is now possible to simulate a complete authentication process using a server side pseudo-random key. Two options '-e' (end) and '-b' (beginning) concatenate the server static string to the password being cracked. Hashes are now rightly displayed during a verbose session. | | File Size: | 9955 | | Last Modified: | Mar 15 15:43:53 2001 |

Description:

proxy 1.1 - Proxy is a C application that when run on a multi-homed host will forward all packets from source, to destination. Where source might be a system on the internet, and destination might be a box on a private network behind a multi-homed linux machine. It's also good for setting up sort of a 'bounce back' connection for poeple trying to attack you. Just run the proxy and point the outgoing connection to your attackers system, and they will end up attacking their own machine. Multi-threaded version.

Active port forwarder is designed for people without an external IP who want to make some services available on the Internet. afserver is placed on the machine with a publicly accessible address, and afclient is placed on the machine behind a firewall or masquerade. This makes the second machine visible to the Internet. Running afserver does not require root privileges, nor does it use threads or other processes. Uses SSL for secure packet tunneling.

httproute.tar.gz |
Description:
|
This package contains a daemon, written as a Perl script plus configuration file, that provides a simple HTTP router, banner advertisement blanker, cache and cookie cutter. You configure your web browser to use it as a web proxy. httproute relays user requests to a web proxy that depends on the URL prefix. If the URL prefix matches a configured list of known advertising servers, httproute answers the request itself with a 1x1 gif image of a black pixel, thus blanking banner ads and speeding page loading (especially on a slow line). httproute can be configured to route its requests to encrypted TCP tunnels established with ssh, making it possible to compress and encrypt some or all of your web traffic at least as far as the proxy server. httproute can strip and/or lie about information from your browser's requests that can potentially compromise your privacy, including the Referer: and User-Agent: options. It strips incoming cookies, except from sites explicitly listed in the configuration file.

Despoof is a utility that tries to determine if a received packet is in fact spoofed by checking the TTL. This command-line utility is intended for near real-time responding (such as being triggered from an IDS). The README explains it all. This utility is based on an idea by Donald McLachlan [don[at]mainframe.dgrc.crc.ca] (thanks Don!). Despoof runs on most Unix systems (tested on Linux, *BSDs), and requires libnet 1.0 and libpcap 0.4.
